Save Chaucer Fields Fund Raising Event

Although the Chaucer Fields development plan has been postponed in order to consider the Village Green Application, the University is not expecting success for the Application and has just put their plans on hold. They think their financial backers will re-commit once the way is clear. Save Chaucer Fields still needs your support and you can help by attending the Quiz Night on Saturday 9th June 2012 in St Dunstan’s Church Hall from 7.00pm to 10.00pm. Ticket Price £6.00 per person to include a Ploughman’s Supper.
Tea and coffee will be on sale on the night, but please do bring your own drinks if you wish.
Raffle and Lucky Ticket Number on the Night.

After the great success of the picnic on 13th May, Save Chaucer Fields are also looking into having a further picnic soon, hopefully in collaboration with UKC students this time. They’ve pencilled in the weekend of 9th – 10th June, so as to coincide with the Quiz, and it’s the last chance to allow students to attend before many disappear, post exams, for the summer.
